The Duke of York has tested positive for coronavirus and will not attend the Queen's Jubilee thanksgiving service on Friday, Buckingham Palace has said.
Prince Andrew tested positive after a routine test and will miss the service "with regret", the palace said.
It is understood he has seen the Queen in the last few days, but not since he tested positive.
As a non-working royal, the prince did not join the Queen on the balcony during Thursday's Jubilee celebrations.
However, he was set to join the wider Royal Family, including the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, at a high-profile thanksgiving service at St Paul's Cathedral on Friday.
The prince's royal titles were returned to the Crown in January amid a lawsuit in the US.
He settled a civil sexual assault case brought against him by Virginia Giuffre, who said the duke sexually assaulted her on three occasions. He has consistently denied all allegations against him.
The 62-year-old duke is the third child of the Queen and is ninth in line to the throne.

Having just read Andrew Lownie's extensively researched and painstakingly referenced work on the Mountbattens, I would suspect that the sensationalist press are scratching just the tip of the iceberg (or even the Battenberg). The depth of perversion and cover up is beyond belief and no matter how grim the bulk of the biography, it's not until the penultimate chapter that the magnitude of depravity is revealed. This guy was mentor to the current King and his brother. Andrew is an angel compared with this guy.
Not a fun or pleasant read and I can't recommend it as casual reading, but if you want to get informed...
