We bought a bird table like a week ago.

Before I just had like a bucket lid with a rock on that I was putting random **** on for the birds cos I felt bad for them. But the neighbours cat kept sitting next to it, and I like zapped it a few times with an ultrasonic dog training thing but it’s got wise to the machine and won’t run away now unless I shout at it.

So basically the birds only got their food if it rained.

So last week we were like yeah it’s cold, let’s get the little bleeders a proper table.

Literally like a day after we put it up and filled it with bird food, birds all the time. Bird sounds are louder in the garden, we get loads of different ones, jays and bluetits and nuthatches and ****.

It’s very zen watching birds at a bird table for a few minutes while eating lunch as well. I really think it’s helping my mood sometimes.
