that looks so great! :D what about sanitization? do you have clean the port or sanitize it? i was wondering why Pinter would not say something abou cleaning the port before adding hopper etc.

Was off work this week and have one of the MM best bitter kits taking up my brew fridge so thought I'd give a wheat beer a go to go in the pinter.
Got my 10l stainless pot out and did a biab. Used Brewfather to plan and hit my numbers stop on both pre and post boil.
5l added to pinter and half a sachet of the Mangrove Jacks wheat yeast.
after 24 hours I added my sounding arrangement and the pressure was off the scale. Reduced to 20 psi but it was done in 2 days.
Just upped the temperature for a d rest then cold crash with the dock on before I remove and condition.
Managed to get a heatbelt round the outside of the pinter held on by a belt and one of those amazon cheap temperature control plugs.
Still impressed and brewday was 3 hours with a whirlpool and a sit for hot break.
Big batches are fun. This is great for trying stuff. Got an imperial stout to do next.

I have seen that CML now do pinter AG kits. They have to be much cheaper than the pinter concentrate.
Mine cost £12 odd quid with enough for two brews of grain and about 10 of hops. But I live down the road from farnborough HBS so can pick up bits as needed. Which may or may not be a good thing.
