I did set the pid to recognise the pt100, but still got the error. It was plugged in via a din plug, but I then tried to wire it in directly. All to no avail, so have assumed a fault with the pt100 or the pid. Either way I have reordered both to test this out. Although this time have ordered a V version pid so should not encounter the incompatability problem with the SSR. I don't know how to test the pt100 other than trying it with another pid I know is working.
