I haven't read the article I will have a look later.

So the Tories failed over 14 years.

Labour have got off to a bad start if they carry on as they are now who will you vote for in 5 years time?

If you don't mind posting in a public forum.

Who did you vote for last time and who did you vote for this time and do you now regret it.

Where did you get that from? I had thought the opposite was true, that no 10 would support the ICC and it's rulings.
oops just rewatched my mistake was a shadow minister that made that statement, proof they all blend into one, the home secretary has flip flopped from not her issue to they would uphold

My natural camp is Labour, but there's a lot I dislike about the way they do things.
I resigned from the party when Starmer refused to take a stance against the slaughter in Gaza. I think he's a moral coward. And I voted LibDem. Even their manifesto looked more Labour than Labour's.
In Starmer's favour, he doesn't seem to be swayed by the rabid press, while Davey is already caving in to the farmers. So it's too early to tell.
But it won't be the Skum.

I voted Labour though am more a Lib Dem but no point in voting for them here.

I have always thought of myself as a centrist in my politics and I feel that my options are limited now that the Tories have moved to the right, I would never vote reform.

I think that Labour have got off to a rocky start, that said if you dig below the veneer of the gutter press you'll see that some of the polices such as winter allowance and farmers inheritance tax aren't quite as bad as the Mail would have you believe. At least Labour are fronting up to difficult issues and not deflecting like the previous government. I've said it before, we are paying for Brexit, the Tories couldn't face making difficult decisions because they were the ones who caused this calamity.

What I want is the NHS fixed, a grown up discussion on immigration and public services sorted. That'll be difficult though!

On balance i'd vote Labour again.

Absolutely this. Moral panic being whipped up by the usual suspects. They seemed less concerned by the managed decline of the previous 14 years strangely enough.

What an idiotic petition based on the fact he 'believes' labour has gone back on its promises made during the election.

Can someone point me to an *actual* promise that Labour have broken since the election that was made in their manifesto? And I'm not talking about some promise made years ago. An actual promise that was made in manifesto or during the election period?

The real test will be in five years time, not four months after an election when the government has had to find bundles of cash to stop schools and hospitals collapsing. And the Lid Dems have the luxury of never having to be held accountable for their decisions!.

Not going to argue with the first bit but to be fair the Lib Dems were definitely held accountable for their decisions in the coalition government, I would argue unfairly so!

Yes, that did occur to me after I hit 'post reply'. That was very much the exception for Lib Dems tho, given that they had not been in government for 100+ years at that time!

I agree, they are not going to put 14 years of mismanagement right in the first 5 years but if they get over this small bump and make a decent job of it i will gladly vote for them.

Doh i thought it was an article not a vote.

Look at the first map below the darker the colour the more votes cast, no surprise there then.

The first pic is from the call a general election poll the second is the actual general election result.
