I’ve finally taken the plunge and ordered my shiny pots from French ebay; further resistance to the dark side calling was futile.

I’m being asked to pay, however, via a site called www.afterbuy.de. I ordered the pots in French and have received an invoice in German.

Anyone else had the same experience ? :?

Cheers

Belter - glad you are online and thanks for the quick response. Pots were ordered after having 'a few' if you know what I mean. Thought I'd messed up for a minute.

Cheers !

:-) I didn't hear anything for a few days the got a text message from dhl saying:

1: deliver to neighbour
2: deliver tomorrow
3: deliver the day after next.

I replied 1. the poor guy had his kitchen full all day until I got home.

In case you need any more convincing, I paid via the method you mentioned and the pots arrived in good time. Service via email was excellent too. And I didn't even have to speak French/German! :D

SB - I think I'm going for electrickery. I do have a paella burner that I could use so may try that first and see how it performs. Just want to get my hands on the hard stuff first and then make the decision. Gas does mean less holes and that appeals.

Mac - Good News and thanks; I've just pressed pay !

Hi Vossy – your right, I really can’t wait. Two 50 litre pots and a 32 Thermobox on their way ! :D

I’ve been trawling this site for almost a year trying to soak up the wealth of information ( your boiler and mash tun conversions immediately spring to mind )

Having said that, you might be sick to the back teeth of me once I start posting all the questions !!!

Cheers

I ordered and paid for my shiney tis week too, can't wait for it to arrive now. Hopefully won't be long.

Just remember if you go gas your confined to your kitchen hob or somewhere like a shed, and your weather dependant to a certain degree.
Electricity is a tad more convenient

Enjoy your purchase.

Mines on its way also. Received plenty of emails this week since ordering, including a tracking email yesterday

Just checked and its in the Air :thumb:

If the invoice is anything like mine there is a drop down on there some where, possibly top right corner(ish?) that lets you swap the language to English :)

If you are as well served as I was you'll have the pots in 72 hours, Bergland rock for price and service, I'd definitely use them again :)
