Prob just need to be patient but...... On Tues this week I started a 23ltr cellar7 red wine kit. Followed the instructions to the letter and put it away in my cellar. The temp slightly less than recommended (18 degrees as opposed to 20-25 recommended).
On Wed eve I started another 23 ltr kit (Magnum Rose) and a DJ of another Red Wine (Wine buddy). All three batches are together on a large tray in my cellar. The first has done nothing (been about 90hrs now) and is showing 18 degrees on the thermometer (sticky one on the side of the FV. The other two started about 24 hrs later are bubbling away fine and temp is showing 22 degrees despite being right next to the other. Different brands of kits and different instructions.. The two that are doing well required sugar the cellar7 did not and they also required using boiling water (topping up with cold) where the cellar7 instructed luke warm water....
Sorry, bit long winded but trying to give as much info as poss.. but the bottom line I guess.... Is the cellar7 knackered or can it still be salvaged....
Thanks
Ian
