Hello everyone. As the title suggests I'm completely new to home brewing. I'm eager to get going without a kit, I've harvested my hops and just need some pointers on where to go next.

Well I might be being ignorant, but I've seen loads of home-brew kits but would like to try and find out what I need to be able to brew from scratch. Unless of course a kit of some description is essential. I am a complete novice so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I thought I'd give it a go. They're currently drying in my garage and the smell is wonderful!

I wondered if you meant "Beer Kit" or the kit for making beer, thanks for explaining.
