I am very new to homebrew, i have produced a couple of drinkable wines/kit beers and ciders since i started a couple of months ago, but i thought it would be an excellent idea to join this forum because i could always do with a bit of advice or some ideas from experienced homebrewers. I started getting creative with homebrew when i recieved some demijohns and some other ageing equipment from my ailing great grandfather, who was along with his wife, an extremely enthusiastic homebrewer having once had a shed with no fewer than four hundred bottles of country wine held within it!!!! :drunk: Hearing some of his stories about homebrew made me desperate to try it and im now extremely enthusiastic about it. I have made several attempts at some rather unorthodox wines but im getting there and by joining this website im hoping to gain a little more knowledge and pick up a few hints and tips on the finer points of making something good to share with friends and family :)

Wow, that's quite a stash, makes my own look rather paltry :hat:

Welcome to the forum

If you only started a couple of months ago and already have wines which you consider drinkable, then things can only get better. Make it faster than you can drink it and set some aside to see what a bit of time does for your wines.
