Hi All,
after making mead, fruit wines and ciders for 20 years I want a little less sugar in my life so it’s time to brew beer. First 20l is bubbling happily with Mangrove Jack Belgian style yeast, Challenger hops and malt, pale malt and treacle. Hoping for around 9%, I will let you know how it does. Thanks, Fergus.

Dartmoor Dark is now bottle conditioned and very nice, I cut back on fermentables so it came in with abv of 6.3.
I'll be repeating this one but am definitely looking forward to using grain in the near future.
