I have been daft busy so had not entered the Scottish nationals, but will be putting in an entry here. Needing now to think about what I put together for this. I'm thinking of making a slightly tweaked version of my clementine and passion fruit Gose - but not quite sure if it fits the BJCP style guide due to the fruit included?

It would fit into 29A

as ever.....a lot of potential judges may read this thread and, whilst there may be a degree of anonimity due to "forum names", I'm sure that some judges will know who the "real persona" are.

You need to therefore be careful with regards potentially unblinding your entries by discussing them here. ;)

Thanks - I hadn't thought of that

Spot on Nick, people should not discuss their entries on here. The judges are very fair but it’s hard to be equally fair if you know the brewer.

I have registered and paid. I like that you can change the style at a later date as I have no idea what I shall be submitting.
All competitions are the same. One of the comps I’ve entered in the past (I think it was LAB) tweeted a joke about the number of category 1A (American Light Lager) that had initially been registered, and that they don’t think they ever get anyone actually entering one.

I’m now considering brewing one for a future competition just for a laugh (not this one, and it’s probably unlikely I actually will). A Cream Ale won Brewcon after all.
