We're in a bubble.

Not very often I want someone to burst my bubble!

In the words of Edith Piaf "regrets, I have no regrets, regrets none of them not I 'ave" I'm paraphrasing!

..then again I have invited my mother-in-law around for Christmas!

You may have covid but are not symptomatic ;)

Selling my 1198r Ducati, Not buying a New Yaris GR 🤔 there’s a few, but live life for the Moment.

I have no regrets and a tattoo to prove it

Going from 2 wheels to four, leaving my Allard drop-head coupe with my parents to dispose of because it was so knackered. Dad had to pay a scrap man to take it away.

Back in the 90's when I was a vocalist in a small sheffield heavy band, I was asked to join a very well known metal band, they had heard one of my recordings through producer Andy Sneap, and wanted me to replace there newly departed member.
But because of a bit stealth on their behalf they wouldn't tell me the name of the band as it might cause rumours in the media, So they approached me via telephone and gave me the run down, problem was they used the fake name to cover the real name and the name they used was china peach or something like that.
On hearing the name and only being told they had a record contract with a major us label and nothing more, I declined their interest and it was solid interest, As they didn't sound like my kind of music.
A few years later whilst in a pub in manchester, I somehow got talking to a friend of a friend, turns out he was the guy I spoke too on the telephone and that they always used ridiculous names when trying to recruit members.
We got talking about music and thats how we ended up realising we had previously spoke.
I told him if he hadn't used such a silly name as a disguise, I would have joined.

Small world.

I bet this guy regrets getting his tattoo's in Thailand. A Geelong Cats supporter wrote down which arm was to have which tattoo. As you can see the tattooist copied what he wrote to the letter!

At the end of a night out in 1987 when Noelle said "Do you want to come in for a coffee?" and I said "Naah, thanks but I'd better get home."

Then replaying the events of the evening next morning and suddenly realising "Aaargh! She didn't mean coffee..."

Is that the dashing dodger we see there?

Guilty as charged. A friend told me about the car (which was gathering dust in a hanger at RAF Swinderby), and roused my interest with the remark 'Where else can you buy a car that does 100 MPH for 100 quid? The problem was trying to insure it!

You can't tease us like that without telling us the band!

Forgot to add a serious reply. I don't really regret any decisions that I've made but if I had to put a couple down first would be not buying my first house or flat shortly after moving up to Gloucestershire for a job after Uni. Thought I'd be here 3-4 years maximum to get a bit of experience and then move on so it seemed daft to be looking at property, I just rented. Even several years later when my landlord offered me the flat I was renting for something daft like £25k, I just decided to rent somewhere else (fancied a move to the nightlife of Cheltenham), not buying then was foolish either the flat I was in or another. Would be so much better off now if I had and I'm still working at the same place some 25 years on though I do at least own / mortgage a house now.

The other was trading in my BMW E30 325i. I loved that car and it was the first proper "sporty" car I'd owned at the ripe old age of 24. It was time to move on as far as my day to day car but it would have made a great track car, unfortunately I didn't have anywhere to keep it at the time. That said the Subaru Impreza Turbo that replaced it was also quite entertaining / frightening 😆

I regret not putting enough effort into my Mechanical Engineering degree and finishing with a poor grade.
This left me with a particularly sour taste in my mouth and smashed my already messed up confidence further.
Leading to another regret, not leaving my current job for one I know I would enjoy more while I had the chance.
