Its nice, but its heavy going if that makes sense.

I'm drinking a Black Rock kit, with malt extract, hops, sugar the usual suspects.

Does anyone know how to make it lighter for want of a better word?.

I know its a weird question & hard to describe. I can give more details depending on answers I might get.

try mixing it with a budweizer? - that is as light as can be. Not that it resembles anything as good as the members here can brew, but it could help dilute your 'heavy' beer.

Soda water will lighten it up without adding taste/sugar.
Are you saying that you have added malt extract and sugar and hops to a kit?

Yeah  I know I don't need hops but instead of using 1kg of sugar I used 500g malt extract & 500g sugar.
