Hello, for the first time I used Coopers Light Malt extract(instead of sugar) and hops(Green Bullet & Saaz).

Now I can definitely taste a difference than I could when I only used sugar & no hops.

However, I'm wondering if the malt that has overpowered the hops?. If I remember rightly I used 15g each of Green Bullet & Saaz.

Could I be right?. What could I do differently next time?. I mean whats point of using hops if the malt is gonna overpower their flavour?.

It was Tooheys Special Lager and...gosh it was a few weeks ago now I think I boiled em for about 20mins if I remember rightly???

I would expect you to be able to taste the hops. Tricky one, you shouldnt actually need additional hops in theory. The kit should provide the hop flavour and additional hops should just enhance that. Using malt extract instead of malt does make the beer more malty of course. Sounds like you want more hops.
