What's everyone's thoughts on the first race then, me personally loved it, great to see Valentino back up there and last season Marquez was my favourite thing about moto2 and now look at him go in the go, EPIC.......

What an epic race it's been a long time waiting to see him back up there. Now looking forward to the new Texas round

Bit late in watching it (have had to avoid FB for a while  ) best race I have seen in ages, shame cal had that little mistake and if rossy hadnt have had his mistake I think it could have been a fight for first :D but cant wait for the rest of the season now :D

So many if's this season, if Valentino qualifies on the front row????? If cal gets his upgrades and they squeeze more out that bike????? And the big one for me is if Marquez starts qualifying on the front row he will definitely win races !!!!!!!!!!

It was interesting that the Yamaha's were all well suited to that track and the Honda's couldn't surmount them. Vale certainly schooled Marky Marq. It's too bad that Dovi couldn't convert that great starting gird position into something more respectable. He must have had a call from Stoner over the break and took notes on how to ride that beast.

Overall, it sure looks like it should be a great season.

I thought marques handled Rossi really well for a rookie to be racing against someone he has probably idolised for most of his life. The kids got b*lls lol

Twas a good race, setting up the stage nicely for the season  Ducati are well rid of Rossi and Rossi is much better on the Yam anyway, win win all round...Duc doing well too.
Couldn't believe Marky...looks so comfortable, like Bradel but better...going to be a much better year for GP this year

Steep learning curve for the other young rookie from GB, Bradley Smith, he'll get there, hopefully :!:

As for Rossi, back on the Yamaha and making it sing, was a great start to the season :thumb:

Marquez was scary, not seen a rookie that hot first time out in, well, probably 14 years ;)

Dovi was impressive on the Duc, I hope he gets the kinks out of it as they guy has too much talent to be riding shopping prototypes or CRT bikes.

Rossi was back to Rossi, mucked up the start then fought back through the field they way he used to in the early days, going to be good to see him when he gets qualifying sorted again, dunno what was up with him to come in that far down the grid, thought he was still on the Duc...

Lorenzo was epic again, pick and **** off into the distance, no one to go with him, he's going to take some catching this year without Stoner to get at him.

Cal has arrived, he's got every chance of winning one this season if he keeps up the level of improvement he's shown for that race :)

And we got the rest of the season to watch yet, pity Stoner aint in it to really spice it up, but even with him gone it's going to be damn fine entertainment.

Went to watch the moto gp on BBC3 this morning, the service was 'down' not back until 7pm
