Trying to put an order in not sure exactly what to get trying to get a pint from corny this weekend which disconnects is it the obvious soda
Is that regulator ok
Could that tap be used on a small fridge
What size hose for beer and co2 they don't say anything on disconnects
Sry I'm baffled

I wouldn’t get those disconnects from GEB. I bought a set as spares and for transferring from pressure FV to keg - the liquid one leaks and the gas one fell apart when I tried to disconnect it from the keg.

I had a pair of those cheap long flow control taps for a while... until I realised that the internals weren't stainless and the plating had dissolved into the beer exposing goodness knows what metal below it.

The intertaps included in the kit @samale linked to are a world apart in quality. If I were you I'd get those instead. The regulator in that kit looks like a top quality item as well. If you go cheap on the regulator then chances are you'll be back here asking why your CO2 cylinder only lasted half a dozen kegs.

I accidentally dropped that Premium Italian regulator about 6 inches (onto a concrete floor right enough) and it stopped working - even though it is a more expensive “premium” regulator I prefer the Kegland one.

I have the triple-product version of this one. Quality is excellent though I won't be drop-testing it !!!

I do...my garage is a bomb site and I need extra power points..got no room at the moment. I want to do it properly and not have to muck about later on. I wonder how many cornies I would need to fit in with my drinking schedule? I probably get through a batch a month of various beers. I've usually got AIPA,English pale,bitter and SAISON on the go at varying degrees,seasonal extras/swap outs with stout and porter. I now think I also may get some more lager done. I think three taps,six kegs should do it...

I am only starting Clint so I will keep you posted. I got a free larder fridge which holds at least 4 kegs.

I get a bonus on Friday from work. It will be spent on the two keg premium kit from BKT.

It has to be easier than washing 40 bottles. I will still bottle certain beers. Ones that you wouldn't drink alot of. Imperial stouts, tripels, Brett beers.

Shake a few litres of your favourite oxy solution and push some through the lines with some CO2. Repeat with water and that's it. They're stainless so they come up like new every time.

I pretty much got the same starter kit from brewkeg. The only thing I probably would have changed is to get 2 of the new style kegland kegs rather than the 2 reconditioned ones as they have a slightly smaller diameter so you can get 3 on a shelf(maybe even 4) In my larder fridge the old style kegs won't fit side by side. My 3rd is a 9litre kegland and it fits next to the reconditioned one so that's the other option to get a new style if you go for a third. I keep the top level of the fridge for bottles.
I'm with you on the bottling of Belgians. Think the carbonation is better for those styles bottle conditioned and I don't put any beers fermented with diastaticus yeast in my fermzilla or kegs ( to many extra places for it to hide).

Very true .. I started with 2 with picnic taps for a budget choice to get me started. And very quickly added the 3rd and 3 nukataps ,and recently 3 kegland secondary regulators . The 9l kegland keg is really good quality..I want a 19l one now
