What a great kit!!!
Started at 1044 and only 8 days later was at 1008, I'd dry hopped it on day 5. Its been in the bottle now for 3 weeks. I thought I would try one this evening to see how it was coming on fully expecting it to need a bit longer. I was very pleased to drink a crisp, clear and really nicely carbonated beer. Lovely Pilsner taste and smell. More than happy I've got another 42 bottles of this to go. The Craft Series kits really are the best I've used, I've had this one, the Juicy IPA and the Helles and all of them have been great. Cheers 🍻

Great to hear. I’ve done the Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA, Juicy Session IPA and Bavarian Wheat beer kits. The Pink Grapefruit IPA is absolutely amazing. The Bavarian Wheat beer is ready but I’ll leave for another 2 weeks and the Juicy Session IPA will be ready in 2 weeks. Looking forward to trying them too.
I’ll give this a go too. 🍻 Cheers.

Awesome, I've got this at the top of my "To brew list" 😁 athumb..
What temperature did you ferment it at and how much priming sugar did you use foe the bottles?

Yes indeed it's a really good one. I have my bucket set up in a room where the temperature is a pretty steady 20 degrees and that has always served me well. I put 2 carbonation drops in each 500ml bottle on this particular brew and it's worked perfectly. Cheers 🍻

I brewed it in our Airing Cupboard with a steady temp of 20-22 degrees C. I used 180g of brewing sugar dissolved in 400ml of hot water and batch primed before bottling. Looking forward to putting another one on soon.

Hi all I have brewed the Mangrove Jacks Pink Grapefruit IPA and its very bitter and nothing like an ipa. I'm very new to this and the temp was 18 to 22. Have another kit so will give it another go.

That kit is a really nice one, so assuming you followed all the instructions my guess would be it has become infected somewhere along the way. Not teaching you to suck eggs but everything you use or that comes into contact with the beer needs to be super clean and sanitised. What other kit have you got? The MJ craft series are really top kits to make. Cheers 🍻
