Lesson in basic thermometer use

When using a glass thermometer with both centigrade and fahrenheit scales make sure to check which is which. Today's mash was supposed to be at 64C and was actually at 164F! Fortunately that's not to far out of the usual range and it looks like I've got decent conversion (iodine test looks clear). But next time I'm double checking temperatures with a digital thermomenter....
