I recently learned that with your flame out hops, you need to keep them in there for a while, 10-20 minutes - during cooling if you use a copper coil is fine. Just thought it may help...

Cheers guys. Rob: I've also picked up recently that the particular hoppy goodness from things like cascade can tend to evaporate off above 120F (i.e. even at flame out), so it's best to wait until the cooling hits that point (maybe this might also be behind the waiting 20mins issue).
