Did they sink? I've only used wet hops once and they sank.

Tho spider was reasonably full so difficult to say if they sank.

Could you share please? In the kettle I let the wort come off the boil so less convection and then stir it like crazy with spoon running round edge of kettle. Then leave alone for 10 mins and hope pellets and trub form a satisfying turd like splodge in the centre. . Then I open tap and pour off clean wort. For dry hopping with lots of hops I just chuck everything in loose. Stir gently every day for 5 days. Then I put a hop spider that sits inside my wide mouthed milk churn of a fv, i press it a little into yeast cake the put normal siphon tube in the hop spider.
