This is what we are doing with nuclear!
Yeah and that’s not exactly ideal either. We can’t just go on burying stuff in the ground and pretending it’s sorted. Too many people sticking their fingers in their ear and going la la la la la, out of sight out of mind. Too many companies coining it in while f’ing over kids and grandkids future. I would mind less if they at least had the balls to be honest about it.

In regards to the original poll, I am more annoyed by the way that they block the public from their business and less bothered about them disrupting events, although I'm not happy with either, preventing the public from going about their business is far worse than disrupting a sports game in my opinion

This has to be one of the most ironic and deranged things I have ever seen.

Just stop oil protestor tries to hold up traffic, gets arrested and then cries because she is unable to get home 🤣

Apparently she needs to go home to help her goldfish breathe because it's warm. I would think this was fake except for the fact that just stop oil themselves uploaded it. The sense of entitlement and sheer 🐂💩 is off the scale.

I think you’ve rather missed the point of what she was saying.

Do you remember when all the black taxi drivers were arrested for blocking up central London?
Do you remember when the truckers were all arrested for blocking motorways?
& etc

To clarify -

If you block the road you will be arrested,
being arrested for blocking the road is not illegal?

She wasn't blocking the road, they are walking slowly just like the trucks and black taxis were. I thought new laws this year re the hierarchy of roadusers (which was always there) pedestrian has right of way.

Why not just throw gold fish at them would be quite funny, or chuck a can of purple paint over them :coat: :coat:
Well they have tried doing that in various forms to buildings/newly weds/ snooker tables to no effect so I assume you are meaning Sunak & Shapps?? after all they are the ones allowing the oil companies to do the damage

You are right but she said "I went onto the road and was arrested" she didn't say "I was crossing the road" and i was arrested, i assume that is a Just Stop Oil high vis vest and the police officer had good reason to arrest her if not i am sure we will see her wrongful arrest plastered all over the papers.

She did continue on to say she had taken 5 or 6 steps, and what good reason for arrest?
However it doesn't change that we certainly didn't see any pro motoring protesters arrested as mentioned in earlier post.
Incidentally end of last year I was trying to get through the Dartford tunnel when the JSO were on the bridge. The management of that event by traffic officers was non existent, it was as if they had been told to escalate/aggravate the problem. And I have used the tunnel/bridge many times as lived in Kent, never as bad as that, 5 hours to get through. The tunnels were fine but I saw but 1 traffic officer perhaps 3 miles from the tunnel on had shoulder

I am not sure we should take everything she said as being true as has already been pointed out -

Apparently he was at home alone ...with his grandfather. I'm still baffled

As i said if she was wrongfully arrested i am sure it'll be all over the papers tomorrow.
