My wife likes to drink low alcohol lager-type beer - the kind of stuff that supermarkets sell as French bierre, or something like Rolling Rock - around 2.5% alcohol. I like beers that actually taste of something, my current favourite kit being Woodforde Wherry. Does anyone know of a recipe or a kit that delivers a proper beer that is less than 3%? Would it work if I killed the yeast at the appropriate FG, or would I just end up with a gooey sweet mess? Any ideas or pointers to past discussions most welcome.
