I've always used milton. No need to rinse. I've got beers over 9 months in the bottle, they are fine. Once the lid goes on to a sanitised bottle whatever is in is in, or not...

The Brew Smarter site recommends using Chemipro Oxi Cleaner (which I am guessing is just a non perfumed Oxy cleaner) with the bottle rinser, has anyone used this method?

Seems we all have different methods...
The triple rinse immediately after pouring your brew is good advice. I then use a large builders tub filled with a weak VWP solution and warm water, submerge my 40 bottles for half an hour or so then rinsed under the outside tap three times .
Yes, it's a 'pita' but once organised, not too bad.
The first point is probably the most important, no residue left in your bottle to go sticky....
