for those that haven't seen the news at all today, the army went out last night on ops and have managed to kill around 100 taliban insurgents. Well done lads.
All in all its been quite quiet here on Kandahar airfield. We had a few rockets come over towards the end on Ramadan, no one seriously injured and its been quiet ever since.
The weather is going through its random faze at the moment, its around 35 degrees and very dusty during the day, but getting to around 10 degrees at night. another few weeks and it will probably be around freezing over night. Good job I brought my thermal undies :lol:
Work has been really quiet, only had to change one engine and do a load of out of phase servicings (all due to being in desert conditions) Tedious work but it makes the time pass quicker. (for those who are interested in what I work on

Been here just over 3 weeks now and got another 5 to do. Missing my misses but get to speak to her a couple of times a week. Got some decent photos so will post a couple up when I get home and get a quicker internet connection.
