How universal is a barrel hose?

Just upgraded to Cornies, but still have a few budget kegs that I plan to keep using until they've bred sufficiently :D . So now I have a big CO2 cylinder, and want to use this to pressurise the kegs every so often.

I've concluded that I can use a universal barrel hose to connect, but in the various descriptions I've used it says "1 per barrel" - may be a stupid question - can't I just unscrew from the S30 valve and swap to another without losing pressure in the first?

(Not sure I want to buy one for each barrel!)

Thanks,

David

Yes you can swap from one barrel to another :thumb: I do :D

presumably as long as you turn the cylinder valve off first or you don't mind CO2 pissing out :)

No with a multi barrel kit you can gas up several barrels from one cylinder . . . to do that though you need a universal barrel hose for each barrel. ;)
