First an AIR gap appears as the filling straw is removed

If you give the bottle a little swirl, it'll foam up, pushing the air out. You can then quickly seal the cap on the bottle.

I opted to put a puff of gas into the bottle neck before capping.

Look what I made. Keith, @Buffers brewery made printed parts for me and supplied the lifting mechanism and some guidance notes. I made the wooden parts and assembled it
It's a bit wonky, but it works.

Thank you @Buffers brewery. This is a really cool and small guide. I have a short question: is it possible for you to share the 3d print files (e.g. *.stl) for the plastic parts? I have my own 3D Printer and would like to print these two parts myself. Especially because I am from Germany and the shipping is not worth it.
