It's all in Polish but all you need to do is download excel file and type the details of your beer in the big table on the right side. Print on adhesive paper and cut.
Im using those:
- paper

Works fine for me. I think you have to be registered user to download. First 2 files are for Excel and OpenOffice. The other 2 are the same but you can use them if you brew smaller batches, so you can save on paper and print labels for 2 beers on the same sheet.

Of the easy way.

Glables prints round labels 19mm diameter on A4 sheets, it's easy to use does text and pictures and it's free.

But Linux not Windoze.

Top man! Glabels installed on my Ubuntu laptop and I am happily creating 25mm round labels that match my 25mm paper punch. Cheers for the tip.

Nice one @Arek , thanks for sharing! athumb..

I saw a photo of bottle cap labels on this forum recently and I really like the idea.

All - it's pretty self explanatory even in Polish but you can copy and paste the text into https://translate.google.com if you're curious (at the end he says he made a version 2 to print two different labels per A4 sheet)

I can't download it either but I'm pretty certain I can knock up a spreadsheet to do this - to eBay! :laugh8:

I buy A4 sheets of round labels (19 mm dia) and print them with a program called gLables. It does text an pictures and it's very easy to use but it's a Linux program.

You can do it with Inkscape but it involves layers and difficult cut and paste.

Since you were asking @PhilBrew .....

The attached zip file contains a version of the Excel sheet I used to print my bottle cap labels (it wouldn't let me upload the original *.xlsx file so I zipped it)

I generally brew smaller ~12L-ish batches so this version prints labels for two different beers: you just need to change the values in cells B3-D6 and the first lot will update, likewise in B27-D30 for the second lot. Or just make everything reference B3-D6 if you need more of the same label.

Feel free to mess around with the colours of the text and cell-fill if you like (the colours of the Belgian flag happen to work well if you're making a Witbier for example!).

When you come to print it, note that the page scaling is set to 50% to fit it on one page (you shouldn't need to change this I think). I generally print a test page on plain paper to check it's OK before printing it on the label paper.

More recently I've been experimenting with putting a semi-transparent image over the text to jazz it up a bit - can post some pics later)

This looks exactly what I was looking for and as Ubuntu is my OS of choice, I'm optimistic.
I'm a friend of Linux - but printers are printers so bear in mind that printing twice may return better results then printing everything in one go, regardless of OS - my previous attempt was done in one go, it's ok but could be better - meh, as long as the beer is good, that's the main thing:
