How many brothers & sisters do you have.

I got the idea for the poll from the 1960 picture in the picture thread here.

Back then most families had two or three kids stats show over the years the number has dropped and now its more likely to be one child per family, the reason given for us having big families back then was that most women stayed at home and a single wage coming into the house was enough to keep a family comfortably unfortunately those days are long gone.

Please add your birth year in the thread so we can see if the above information is correct.

2 (half) sisters and 1 (half) brother on my Dad's side.

3 (half) brothers on my Mum's side (albeit one sadly no longer with us)

1 brother.

I've put half in brackets as we were all brought up together (apart from much younger brother) and never felt anything other than siblings.

Born 1980, three brothers and one sister. Irish father who my mother claimed only had to hang his trousers over the bottom of the bed and she fell pregnant. I have a feeling there was more to it than that.

My wife was born in 1975, 1 sister.

And continuing the pattern we also have two kids.
