Hot side aeration

I normally collect my wort in a fermenter from my mashtun and then pour it into the boiler.

Will this cause hot side aeration or will the boil get rid of any issues caused by this?

Personally I wouldn't worry about HSA, what you are doing will not make a difference to your beer in the end.

Since I've started AG I've always tried to avoid it, I always syphon when the wort is hot and never let it splash around. What's the general consensus about HSA on here?
 
when i fill the boiler with wort i usually just use a jug which does splash about abit , then i pour the rest in when it's not too heavy with more splashing . Not noticed any stale like off flavours as yet
 
I siphon most of my wort from an FV to my boiler (mainly cos 30L is heavy) and pour the last bit in. I do try to minimise splashing but am not overly concerned by HSA. I have no facts but think the general consensus is that its not a big deal.

Put it this way, when I asked regarding HSA during a brewery tour I was told that HSA is nothing to worry about to the Home Brewer, leave it to the big breweries to worry about. This was as we watched a copper be filled from the mash tun, there was quite a bit of splashing and he wasn't concerned. There beers are fantastic.

It's been discussed before Try some of the links on the thread. In short don't worry about it . . . having said that while I don't worry about it I have designed my brewery to minimise all splashing hot or cold . . . unless I want it to
