when a beer recipe calls for goldings hops could you substitute with styrian goldings instead????

From my understanding Styrians goldings where originally a Fuggle not a Golding but I'm sure someone better informed can add more.

Depends what your substituting for? Aroma bittering or flavour. Styrian Goldings are actually a veriaty of fuggle grown in Slovenia, the beauty of homebrewing is experimenting give it a go it may be even better.
