Hi there -
I've just moved to London from New Zealand, bit of an adventure. Late last year I got into home brewing in a big way - got a bit mental, built a Keezer and everything, (which is now sitting in my friends garage not being used, outrageous!)
Anyway, I figured London wasn't going to be great for brewing, but I miss it a lot. Too much.
I've decided to get back into it over here, though it'll be bedroom brewing. Do you have any recommendations for the best starter kits (plus bottles) here (and where best to purchase from, online?) I had a Coopers back home, not sure if no airlock will be problematic since I can't give the beer it's own quiet closet. I'll just do a couple of kits to start with, then I'll go to doing extract and 8 litre boils or something - don't want to invest in too much equipment here, I haven't the space!
I'd love to help people out on brew days too if anyone does that around here, I just got set up for doing full mash BIAB before I left home.
Nice to find a thriving HB community here :) I'll lurk around now, but if anyone has any tips about how people usually go about their homebrewing in the UK I'd love to hear about it, it's new to me!
Cheers
