Ok Wez, finally got around to doing the first brewday here at the new address, soon there will be a new shed/brewery in the background and I can move off the rear patio.

Decided to post this on THBF after some prompting from Wez..........and to beat Chappo

Aussie Ale, used Tony's recipe from the AHB Recipe database. Have made other Trad Aussie Ales before, usually Queensland Style using Nugget and Cluster but never this one using POR right through from FWH. Looked interesting and thought it was high time I did something along these lines.

HERMS brewing is a little like being in the Army "hurry up and wait" :) sorry but there are only pics of each step, pretty boring stuff. I was painting the pergola in the breaks.

Well thats it, boring eh! Into the fermenters and into bed with some yeast for this brew at 20°C. Some spent mash to the chooks and the rest on the Banana plants in the background.

Hope the newbs get some excitement from the pics

Cheers,
