Hi all,

been lurking a few weeks, already downing an impatient attempt at an original wurzel, but have loads of questions, and enough of a stock reserve now to exhibit more patience, for a few weeks at least.

how relaxing is such a low-tech hobby in such a hi-speed world...totally is the answer.

not sure I can brew fast enough to feed my habit...

I'm an IT Project Manager from Fife, Scotland, and mad for English cricket (yorkshire family)

You'd be surprised how hi-tech some of the brewers get with cell counts on their yeast and some of the calculations and bits of software that can be used when designing recipes :)
