Oooo..you know I love the amber's . haven't brewed one for a while but got a session strength one coming in a couple of months. Planning to use Chinook and Idaho Gem.

I did, there’ll be a post way back somewhere in the What Are You Drinking Tonight thread.
I thought it was a real belter. I’m assuming that was the March comp winner, and very worthy. From memory, the hop aroma and character were phenomenal. I’ve always struggled to come close on that front.

What sort of kits? Cans/Malt extract or all grain recipe kits?

Either way I don't think they specify that it must be all-grain, or your own recipe.
