Still consider myself very much on the learning curve with Cornys, gas etc. Made a bit of a school boy error last night that I hopefully won't repeat.

Decided to burst carbonate my latest brew so after getting it in the keg set the regulator for 40 psi and left it for a day. Went to drop it down to serving pressure after that and dozily wound out the screw on the regulator whilst not exactly considering the implications of the fact I'd filled the keg up over the dip tube.

The gas starts to come out of the blow hole on the regulator but shortly after that by beer, f**k thinks me and I quickly wind the screw back in to stop it and put some pressure back into the line. After this I turn off the gas, pull the disconnect off the keg and carefully remove the pipe from the regulator. Once I'd done this I gave the regulator a good few squirts through with gas to drive out the liquid. Then emptied the gas pipe (of beer), cleaned it and finally reattached it all to the keg having burped it this time.

Set the pressure to the serving pressure and it all seems to be working okay. Do you think I've done lasting damage to it? Can they be stripped down and cleaned?

I think and hope you will be lucky, what you have done sounds right to me bur I have never had that issue, just wait for somebody else who has to answer but it sounds as if you may have caught it in time
