Gypsum - treat the liquor or chuck it in with the mash?
Latter seems easier but wondered if there are reasons to do the former?

Stick it in the mash, well thats what i do.

Treat the mash with a proportion according to the amount of water you are putting in the mash, then add the rest to the boil.

The required amounts as per whatever brew you are doing can be calculated with the forums free calculator, at the top left of the page.

Cheers for the advice. Will go with chucking it in the mash/boil rather than treating in advance - seems easier.
