I've recently bottled a batch of the Youngs American Pale Ale and whilst not too strong (around 5.5%), I'm looking for something more along the 4% mark that's of decent quality.

I mentioned IPA in the title but other pale ales or even amber ale suggestions would be much appreciated. There are so many kits out there it's quite overwhelming trying to find out what's of decent quality and/or not over-priced.

Cheers!

Mangrove Jack brewers series are great kits, and only £11 each. The pale ale is better then the APA, done a few of these now and they have turned out great. I use 1gk of LME, and dry hop with 50g of hop pellets of my choice tried uk cascade, us cascade and chinook. The best has been with chinook. Another good kit is the make your own IPA, and on offer at the moment at brew2bottle.
