I want to try and improve my fermentation using dry yeast. The last beer I did had a stalled fermentation at 56% attenuation and I couldn't get it to budge. I think it's the rehydrating dry yeast I can improve on. Beersmith refers to something called GoFerm when rehydrating yeast to help it along. This seems to just be yeast nutrient. I have some Wilko yeast nutrient I have used when brewing wines. Would using the Wilko yeast nutrient be as effective as using GoFerm when rehydrating yeast?

No idea about the Wilko stuff, but I used to use Tronozymol when using Kveik, especially when brewing anything pale, as I found that kveik would burn through the micro nutrients otherwise. Never had a stuck fermentation with it.
