I had a go at making a ginger plant in the hope of making some ginger beer.. followed the instructions to the letter as well as and exploding bottle it tasted awful :sick: and felt it was a waste of time. I have tried to rescue this by putting the remaining liquid into a DJ and added more ginger and sugar and a little more yeast.. it is fermenting away happily now but I'm not sure what it will become a wine or a beer. :wha: I was thinking of letting it ferment out then put it into pop bottles primed with a little sugar and sweetener to taste. I would think this would be quite alcoholic due to the fermenting.. Anyone got any thoughts on this ?? :wha:
