Getting tired of seeing a trail every weekend of same situation / different outcomes with everyone falling over themselves to justify the decision in each case - worst case are penalties still. For team A they say 'not much contact, but there is some...' then 'The refs got that spot on, hardly any contact there..'

Anyone want to comment on the Brentford penalty? Lock arms with the defender, pull him towards you and then fall over when he stumbles into you. Still Ivan Toney would have backed himself to score.

Think I was still naive enough to think VAR would improve the quality of decisions when I heard about it, but given up now.

A minor blip caused by injurys caused by players playing to many games with hardly any recovery time, and it is not just liverpool

There is a long way to go and an 8 point lead doesn't guarantee anything at this stage, some pundits on the sport radio are saying the Arsenal squad are not strong enough to keep this going all season and if a couple of their best players get injured they don't have the quality to replace them, time will of course tell if they are right.

Remember all the "you bought the league" type stick we got from United fans when our owners bought the club how short will their memories be now they are in the same position, I dont hear many United fans phoning 5live to say we don't want the money, talk about double standards!
