Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum; I've pretty much got my set up together for my first ever whole grain mash (just graduated from kits) can someone recommend a simple first recipe to have a go at that's not too taxing that I can use to hone my skills? I'm a fan of all styles but if I had to pick one it would be a pale ale.

All suggestions welcome

Thanks

Lawson

I recommend TT Landlord clone from the book of G Wheeler - simple but very, very tasty

Pretty much anything from Wheeler... two down and both really good beer.

What style of beer are you looking to brew.

Would like to try an IPA or a light summery type of beer.

TT Landlord is a fave of mine so that would be nice thanks

I would suggest lookin at the recipe section on this site. Good to follow what someone else has documented so u can figure how well your setup is working

A Summer Lightning clone is an easy first brew. I did it for my AG1 and it worked out really well.

It only requires a single grain type too, which makes things even simpler.
