First brew kit and a few questions!!

Afternoon
I've finally took the plunge and bought a Homebrew kit after months of should I shouldn't I! Bought the Golden Ale kit from Wilkos and started it on Monday.
I also bought a pressurised barrel.
So my first question is do I need a CO2 cap/injector and if I do, can I barrel the brew with the normal cap and then replace it with the CO2 cap when it arrives?
Is that two questions?

Can't answer your questions as I bottle my brews but the Wilko golden ale is lovely jubbly;-) I would say it gets better after a month in the bottle.

 

[Twostage]

I'd wait until your co2 cap arrives. Every time you open the barrel you risk infecting your brew. A few 'extra' days in the fermenter does more good than harm.
