Total Liquor: 35.4 Litres
Mash Liquor: 12.3 Litres
Mash Efficiency: 68 % - estimate from previous brews with old system

Fairly basic but the first time I've used Munich - will 200g be worth it? Also the crystal probably won't do too much... perhaps i'm hedging my bets a little... the wheat is just there for head retention really, I may use torrified instead.

Any comments welcome :thumb:

You know I am absolutely envious of the abundance of U.S flowers that you lot in the UK are able to get. Here in Ozz the only flowers that that I am aware of that we can get are Australian and New Zealand. Love my American hops but are limited to pellets. We do have the ability to grow the American varities but its not the same as the U.S grown variety. Mind you we do have some nice aroma hops, Galaxy is one that comes to mind :D

Wow...lots of tasty looking recipes on this thread! I love Cascade too, and am about to brew another batch that's quite similar to yours, but with a bit more munich and crystal--more of a Red ale or amber ale maybe (I don't know what you call it when a pale ale isn't that pale anymore but has lots of hops!).

Good luck with your brews!

BTW I have a 2nd year cascade hop vine in the back yard that's growing beautifully. Gave me 1/2 pound of hop flowers (dry) last year, and I bet this year will be much more. Got lucky on that one, as I'm not the best gardener.

Back Yard Brewer - We feel the same way in the States. I know some guys that have tried to grow Aussie and Kiwi hops and found that they just weren't the same. We'll just keep buying yours!
