Think I messed up on the last step. Some of the sterilised water fell into the wort from the airlock

Hi Markie, and welcome to the most addictive hobby there is.
There's no such thing as cheating, be it a 2 can LME kit, all-grain kit or whatever.
Hopefully you enjoyed the process, will enjoy the beer, and more importantly, will want to brew more!

Prefect was worried it would effect the yeast!! Just got to wait 2 weeks to bottle and another 2 till I can try it!! Cheers for your help guys!

Yep wouldn't call that cheating - that's in at the deep end. Does look like you have taken the notion of "bready flavours" a bit too literally mind.

Looks very promising. A kit is actually handy for small all grain batches as it means you dont have to source a variety of malt and hops just to use a few grams worth in 5 litres, not cheating at all

Just finished bottling up. I think I will be dry hopping in a bag next time. Think the last 2 bottle going to be very cloud!!

I have just been to pick up
Some more supplies to do another brew as soon as I can. The chap at the shop said best to leave in the bottle for a good 2 months. I was planning on leave for 2 weeks before drinking. Is 2 weeks enough?!

My pale ale AGs have been drinkable as soon as they carbonate, although they improve a bit over a month or so and become more clarifed and mature. 2 weeks will be fine for a pale if you cant wait but try keeping some back and opening at different stages to see the difference. Darker beers need longer to condition I believe.

Rule of thumb here is 2 weeks to carbonate & another 2 to condition.
I generally wait 1 month from bottling to drinking.
Obviously carbonating might take a bit longer in the shed in the winter than the summer
