first beer brew

started my first beer kit today youngs scottish heavy i have made a cider kit and got tc on the go. so as its a kit its a simple case of fling it in stir it up and bob's your uncle :) but i thought nope ill do it by there book so went to cut the label off to read the instructions but no to much glue on the label. four bits of label later all put together the instructions say fling it in stir it up and bob's your uncle.so i would like to say(not that you will read this) mr young you put to much glue on your cans stop killing to many horses anyone else had this problem or is he just picking on me cause my name is young as well or is it cause i'am scottish.

There There pat pat.....Its over with now..... In future you wont have to soak the labels off the instructions are very simple. But your best place for advice on what to do is right here.
Some kit manufacturers will insist on sticking the sachet of yeast to the bottom of the can. Many is the time I've put the can to soak in hot water prior to opening, only to forget the yeast is still stuck to the can...
Even had to retrieve one can and yeast packet from the recycle bin !

I find it 50/50 with the kits I have done. Sometimes the label slips of, sometimes not.

I is annoying though :thumb:

I was a bit ****** off having spent £23 on a muntons two can kit to find there were no instructions inside on how to brew it.
Imagine my embarrassment when I found them on the back of the box after sitting there for an hour wandering what I should do
