I’ve taken the plunge on an AG brew for the first time..

Trying for a Cervesa type, mashed at 65 for 60 minutes and now boiling away at 101.6c for 60 minutes before cooling cool goes in.

Will be in the pressure fermenter later with M54 yeast ( all they had )

On the slippery slope now next it will be cornys and fridges acheers.athumb..
 
It took 12 hours for the fermentation to start and 24 hours after that I set the spunding valve @ 10psi (steady 20c temp ). 72 hours after the ferment started the krausen started to drop, left it at 20c until today and took an FG reading.

It’s a gassy one

Wife just said it taste better than that Efes we had in the bistro early in the week, so that’ll do me.
