I have some of the vossy tube and found the little plastic end of my little bottler comes of and fits nicely into the tube and then onto the tap on the FV but it take ages and ages to fill the keg.

What tube do you use to fill your keg ?

Don't use a little bottler to fill your keg. Just put the end of the tube in the keg and open the valve. You could syphon as well. If you keep the end of the tube below the liquid surface you won't airiate much. But the fill will be faster.

My best practice is to purge the keg with C02 prior to racking the beer. I've racked the beer 2 ways to date,
1, rack through the beer out tube, minimising any possibility of oxygenating the beer as the tube fills from the lowest point in the keg, it's quite slow.
2, using the silicone hose, put a length to the bottom of the corny then rack as normal, as bobsbeer advice, quite quick.

How do you fix the hose to the FV tap as the diameter the hose is bigger than the tap ?

I have got these taps on each the FV

The bore of those taps is a bit narrow, you'll need to build them up some how to get the silicone hose to fit. Alternatively you could get one of these , also available on e-bay as water butt taps :thumb:

Thanks, will swap tap and then if I need to use little bottler will use a bit of hose to attach between the two.

Job done. :thumb:

I use water butt taps with hozelock fittings on my FV's.
waddington and duval make are food safe..

i then use 1/2"pvc pipe in a hozelock female connector about a m long.

i also decant into a 2ndry vessel to help clear the beer a few days/week? prior to kegging

i purge my keg, with co2 drop the steralised 1/2" tube in the bottom of the keg, click on the connector and open the tap,

nice n fast..

for purging fv's with co2 i have a small compressed air gun via ebay for a few squid i have this hooked up to a low pressure regulator (6-8psi) which lets me squirt co2 into fv's bottles, any vessel i want no air in basically..
