Morning all. I've got the razorback ipa kit to brew hopefully today. My question is do any of you experienced brewers add additional hops other than the dry hops supplied or is is very hoppy as per instructions? The kit comes with 75g of dry hopping pellets. Simcoe centinnal and summit. I'm looking to get a brewdog style beer. Thank you.

It's not a kit I have tried but the usual recommendation is to go with the ingredients that you get with the kit. This gives you a base line for the future, should you wish to experiment and 'pimp' it with other hops etc...

Having said that, the beauty of this hobby is you can do anything you like with your brews, but I would not add anything if I were you and see how you like it.

Thanks mate. My wife wont try my beers but I know she likes the brewdog beers so I'm aiming for something like that. I did a 1 gallon ag punk ipa kit but it's a lot of effort for a small amount of beer.
