My mate stitched me up on the Irish Poteen yesterday got me real ****** and I really want to repay him . He loves a drop of the cider now my thinking is a turbo cider with the strength of wine . Would this high alcohol affect and make the cider undrinkable also how much sugar do you recommend . I want this man bouncing of the floor at one of his party's

if you do 7 litres apple juice with 800 g sugar added should make it strong enough :thumb:

AJ normally come in at 1044 = 5.9% ABV
20 grams sugar per litre = 1% ABV
How strong do you want to go?
Your only limitation will be the alcohol inhibiting the yeast, circa 10 to 15%, depending on your choice of yeast.
