Nah. its a bit of a stretch to assume all EV car critics are climate deniers.

It’s easier for me to do, and it won’t end the world if I did.

But I’d also like to think I’m not leaving s*** everywhere for someone else to clear up.

Dual clutch?

Have had dual clutch it's quick but ICE still needs to spool up to get to maximum torque EVs have that instantly for on and off throttle driving in twisty roads etc the power delivery is instant in sports mode to a lever I have not encountered in even Very Fast ICE in my opinion at least

That makes sense, only ever driven hybrids and then not really floored them

They accelerate as quicky backwards hence the cracked bumber in my new Eletre as I scooted out of the drive and hot the lamppost in the middle of the road. First prang in 30 years. Love the car but it's too heavy for my Waitrose car park.. LOL Electric Mini Cooper coming next month which will be easier around town. I love ICE cars but some electrics are fantastic fun.

I had a test drive in an Eletre and was really impressed. Lovely car, lovely driving experience.

It has a few foibles and not having heated rear seats in a £105k car is ridiculous. Needs a rear wiper too, I've had to coat rear screen so I can see out in rain. But vert comfortable and very fast. And only £610 a month!
